Afinado brings you the lively music of Brazil, primarily choro, bossa nova, and samba. You'll hear classics like The Girl From Ipanema and Desafinado along with a charming set of chorinhos by legendary flutist Altamiro Carilho. We will also share delightful newer works by contemporary guitarists Celso Machado and Dorado Schmitt. Flutist Hilary Goldblatt, guitarist Matthew Downey, and drummer Blake Fleming enjoy performing together in a variety of settings, including cafés, concert halls, parties, meadows, and schools.
