Council Rock, a self-advocacy group of adult men and women from Pathfinder Village are excited to invite you to a community-wide event on Saturday, August 10th at The Gatehouse in Morris, NY. Pathfinder Village is an open-access neighborhood in Edmeston, NY, where people with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities make lasting friendships and build community. Council Rock is sponsoring a painting activity at The Gatehouse as part of the #DsRocks campaign - a global celebration where people can show support for those with Trisomy 21 through positive messages on hand-painted stones. The project’s ultimate goal is to raise awareness of the abilities of children and adults with Down syndrome and the roles they fill in our communities.
