Join us for an intimate afternoon of masterful guitar with Dennis Turechek—founder and past president of the Classical Guitar Society of Upstate New York. Dennis is an accomplished classical and jazz guitarist with a rich solo and ensemble career, bringing decades of experience to every note he plays.

A retired faculty member of Hartwick College and SUNY Oneonta, Dennis has taught music and guitar at the Brooklyn Music School, Henry Street Settlement, Metropolitan Music School, and Jersey City State College. His performance credits include the Glimmerglass Opera (The Barber of Seville, Don Pasquale, Falstaff), the Catskill Symphony Orchestra, and the Catskill Chamber Players.

Dennis is also featured on three recordings—Dennis Turechek Plays Dennis Turechek, From The Bridge, and With Strings Attached (Li’l Pumpkin Productions).
