Dan and Gavin Hardy are brothers. Having shown a musical inclination at a very early age, they were subjected to a youth full of playing Bluegrass, country, folk, and rock’n’ roll music. Unfortunately, this early introduction to music atrophied their athletic ability and forced the brothers to spend their school aged years playing in bars and clubs rather than making friends and playing soccer. Ultimately, the brothers were chained by their upbringing to a life of songwriting and performing.

They have worked both together and apart in bands from Toronto to Pennsylvanian; from Milwaukee to New York. They currently play in The Woodshed Prophets, a band based in upstate New York
