Wyatt Ambrose is a guitarist, educator, and composer based in Oneonta NY. Though his creative and professional roots are in the Jazz lineage, Wyatt approaches his work with an open heart and mind to all forms of great music. As a solo performer, he weaves together Jazz standards, popular songs, and original music through free-form improvisations that are engaging for both musicians and music lovers alike.

Wyatt is an in-demand sideman and bandleader in the region and has performed with venerated regional and national artists including Keith Pray, Joe Barna, Kimberly Hawkey, and Eric Finland. He performs his original music regularly with the band Killdeer Trio – a collaborative project comprised of bassist Evan Jagels and drummer Sebastian Green. Wyatt is currently an Artist in Residence and Adjunct Professor at Hartwick College in Oneonta where he teaches both performance and lecture classes in Jazz and Popular music.
