Join us for a sound meditation. Relax, exercising only your ears in this mind-body experience, attuning the body’s natural frequencies with those of instruments, voice, and other resonating objects. Through parasympathetic resonance and brain entrainment (letting go), participants can experience stress reduction, relief from chronic pain, and a bolstered immune system in feeling better than when they came.
What to expect:
We will briefly introduce sound healing and how it eases tension, alleviates mind clutter, and facilitates a receptive state of being - present, calm and relaxed, aware and open to subconscious journeying. Next, Alyx Braunius will prepare participants to receive the meditation by clearing toxic abnormalities in breathing, body comfort, and letting go. Once on the mat, a short savasana is conducted, then moves into full meditation.
Upon gentle wakening, participants conclude sound meditation in collaborative play, then silence.
Instructions for intention setting are made (2024 Mantra or Focus Word/Phrase). Participants complete, then conclude with (weather permitting) an outdoor burning bowl ceremony.
